Originated from the punkrock/hardcore scene. The philosophy/life-choice that humans should have strength, pride, dignity, honor, and self respect; that they shouldn't engage in activities that are a disgrace to their minds and bodies. (such as ingesting and/or becoming addicted to harmful substances for fun, lying and/or being two-faced, and sharing your body sexually with another person when there isn't even a true emotional bond there) I'm straight edge you fuck, so no I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. So yeah. I was on facebook today and this is what I saw And I wanted to commence puking. I'm not saying that I completely look down upon underage drinking, smoking,  illicit drug use; I'm just saying that it's not for me and I personally don't go around screaming to the world "I DON'T DO DRUGS MUTHA FUCCAS!"  Also I don't go around dissing it either, I mean it's not my life so not my choice, although if you asked me personally about it I would clearly state that No. I do not do drugs, nor do I drink, or anything otherwise thank you very much.  So, in retrospect why should these people be doing the same? If someone chooses to be sober during a gathering of be it two people or more why should you look down upon their choice, if they do not look down upon yours?  I'm just saying that it's ridiculous not only to put down someones personal decision, but also to promote something that is physically harming to oneself. (But even so with that said, it's your life not mine. make your own decisions, just make sure that they are the right ones for yourself, keeping safety of yourself in mind also.) I'm a ton of fun. Without alcohol. Without drugs. And on top of that I can usually clearly remember the fun I was having.  Onto other topics! Watch this AWESOME VIDEO~ That's all i have to say besides that I was drawing earlier and tossing wads of paper at my cat (he really enjoys wads of paper) and I tried to tease him with a strip of paper (I don't cut my cats claws, because he's never had it done, and he's old. So yeah; also he's a wild outdoor cat so he needs them for protection) and he got me in my middle finger, and thumb. I bled. A lot.
