Want a story?
You've got it.

She awoke this Monday morning, just like any other day. Except this was not the same day as the day before. Nor will it be a day like tomorrow. Her room was cold this morning. The fall chill was beginning to settle in. She stood up, placing her bare feet on the cold floor of her room. She was going to make this day better than yesterday, even if they weren't the same.
She smiled to herself as she stepped into the shower, washing away everything that stuck to her throughout the night. Cleansing her body of every nightmare she experienced the night before.
The bright early morning sun shone briskly through the bathroom window. She didn't feel any need to turn on the lights. Because those lights were artificial, they weren't clean for this new day. And so she left the lighting to this brisk new sun that was shining on her pale clean skin.
Today was going to be much better than the day before.

He saw her walking across campus with her books in hand, eyes glued to the ground. She looked deep in her thoughts. Just really deep into it. And he watched her. She effortlessly eluded everyone who walked passed her. He wanted to call out to her. He wanted to run across the green grass and say hi. He wanted to offer to carry her books, to ask her what she was thinking so deeply about. But he stayed where he was. Sitting on the grass, book open in his hand. Not studying, but also not wanting to waste time to study. But just watching her. He didn't know when he would see her next, but he knew that he would see her sometime soon.

She walked towards the library. She had classes, but today was different. She wasn't going to go to any of them. She was going to have a great day all to herself. She wasn't going to go to any of her classes. She was just going to go. And it was going to be grand. she was going to camp out in her favorite isle. And just read her day away. Smiling at the little things she found in her books.

He watched her from afar. In the library. Near her favorite isle of books. He didn't go and say hi to her, because he wanted to see her react the way she would react to all of the little things he hid in her favorite books. He didn't say hi to her, because he was in the middle of telling her exactly how he felt in the only way that he knew she would receive it correctly.

And she did. She read his words in his little notes. All hidden perfectly in all of her favorite books in her favorite section of her favorite place. And that's when she knew. She knew that she loved him too.

well this was something that i started like two nigtsh ago.
And i don't remember what i was going to do with it.
so here's this.
it seems that no matter how much i dislike love stories, it's the only thing i can write lately.
and none of them are very well or cleverly written.
but this is it.
the end.

Also.
I'm in love again with Lisa Mitchell.
